Eric Singerman studied philosophy at the University of Chicago for college and returned to the University of Chicago for law school, where he graduated with honors. After law school, he clerked in the Western District of Texas and the Northern District of California and worked as an education attorney for youth in the delinquency system. While in law school, he worked at civil rights firms and public defender’s offices across the country, wrote articles for NPR, and served on the civilian review committee for the local police department.
Most recently, Eric helped secure a sentence of probation for a client facing multiple years in prison and helped secure an acquittal and hung jury for a client facing allegations of bank fraud, money laundering, and sanctions evasions.
