Eric Singerman studied philosophy at University of Chicago, taught high school English, and then returned to University of Chicago for law school. After graduating, he clerked in the Western District of Texas, and then worked at a Berkeley nonprofit, defending youth caught at the intersection of the school discipline and delinquency systems.
