Jonathan Knowles focuses on criminal defense and appeals. Mr. Knowles also represents medical and legal professionals facing disciplinary sanctions, and has been known to take on the odd civil case. He is a licensed but non-practicing patent attorney.
Mr. Knowles first joined Burnham & Gorokhov a couple of years out of law school, following a stint at a high-end civil litigation firm. He has returned after working for an appellate judge in New York City, where his work included criminal appeals and professional discipline.
Mr. Knowles’ successes at Burnham & Gorokhov include significantly reducing the sentences of many clients following their conviction and, on appeal, the dismissal of a charge for violation of the defendant’s right to a speedy trial.
