Patrick Cothern

Patrick Cothern practices criminal defense. His practice includes white collar criminal defense as well as investigations, appeals, post-conviction proceedings.

Prior to joining Burnham & Gorokhov, Mr. Cothern served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia. He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2019, where he authored and published a note in the Michigan Law Review about habeas corpus proceedings. Mr. Cothern was also a two-year member of the Michigan Innocence Clinic, where he helped represent prisoners who sought to have their convictions overturned.
